There are upwards of 11,000 private U.S. companies that are IPO-ready. In 2024, there were 225 IPOs. It would take ~49 years to get through the *backlog* of private companies. This cannot sustain.

The reason why ICM hasn't taken off as much as it should is that there are ZERO real mechanisms for value capture for businesses. Teams make money from volume, sure, but there is no incentive to push that money back into the token - fundamentally, those tokens represent nothing.

Think one of the more forgotten things in re: launchpads which resonates with me is taking care of traders and holders. Finding the balance between providing great launches and fundraising for teams and upside for traders/trenchers is difficult but essential

it is imperative that solana wins ICM meta for startups wanting to move onchain *and* that solana is competitive with hyperliquid & lighter on the perp dex landscape already has won memecoins but need other winning sectors to see $SOL > $ETH mcap imo they are aware of this
