YES. In my undergrad thesis many many years ago, I included lurkers (folks who don't interact much, not even to leave a comment at times, but read fic or look at fanart, edits/fanvids, etc.) because fandom has long seen lurkers as key members of the community. In fandom, you
do not bring a capitalist mentality to fandom spaces guys. let your fave artists/writers/editors/etc know you love and value their work but do not feel lesser than for “not contributing”. never lose your whimsy
