I’m happy to see this happening but I can’t help but feel concerned that advertisers are going to pack their bags and never come back. Imagine spending good money on a streamer, with what you thought was a decent CCV, but they’re just a bunch of bots from Russia 💀.
Twitch's viewership has been on an overall downward trend since they cracked down on viewbots. Overall platform viewership went down as much as 24% compared to last week, with many big streamers suddenly losing thousands of viewers
