I wanna bring more visibility to this too! Happens to me all the time. Literally a day difference I went from the left drawing to the one on the right. Some days art is not working at all and the next I have one of my best art days. Don't let it discourage you and keep trying!
I don't see it talked about much, so I'm not sure how common a problem it is, but my skill will change dramatically depending on the day and my mood. These colour sketches are 1 day apart
