Another day, another batch of cheaters

after SEVEN MONTHS, the minor half of the rime-coat bug is under known issues. here's to hoping they actually do something about the major bug (where it breaks all of your weapon perks)

@A_dmg04 I've gotten a couple replies from bungie help accounts, saying that it would go into known issues and would be passed on to the devs, but its been over two months since the first reply, and 3 weeks since the last one, and no mention has been made about it at all.

Hey @A_dmg04, would it be possible to pass along this rime-coat raiment bug? It's causing it to make most weapon perks and stuff like devour to stop working entirely. I've been posting about this for months on the forums, but it still hasn't been mentioned at all. Link in reply.

Even with limited amounts of data, the reprised dawn weapon data is showing weighting, and should be free of selection bias and survivorship bias. I still doubt it's intentional, but still, unbiased data shows that it seems to exist.

Currently running the calculations for the revenant weapons - should've done this earlier but they should be up soon. I will probably start coming back and updating rezfarm sometime soon since it's been a while.

or there needs to be a smaller loot pool per encounter. As much as this farm sucks though, it kinda does feel good to go back and actually *want* to farm things again lol.

I only post this for discussion - do you think that 217 runs is a fair expectation value to ask of players? In my opinion, this is still excessive. In my mind, this shows me that either there needs to be a way to manipulate probability ---.

Now that everyone is talking about the probabilities associated with 1st encounter - let's look at some idealized scenarios. Assuming totally fair probability (a 1/6^3 chance of getting a god roll from 1st encounter per run), you'd be looking at ---.

I know that this horse has been beaten to death already, bur I just think it's funny that the expectation value for the number of pale heart chests it'd take to get all exotic class items on one character is over 151,000, about 63 days of farming lol.

Fun theory: If Destiny swaps to a content model of a couple mini-expansions per year with no seasons, it's very likely we'll never see another piece of content sunset again.
