One of my favorite things about the new NAKED GUN is how Brandon Trost shot it like Jan de Bont. The whole film looks great - it has a 90's BASIC INSTINCT feel to it. Anamorphic with strong contrast. It's lit like a real movie, not just for coverage.

I took my parents to see Naked Gun and the moment we all lost it at the opening, I realized how many years Hollywood’s wasted trying to make “smart” comedies instead of just being stupid & really funny. Laughing together with people you care about is a feeling that's unmatched.

Liam and Pamela are fantastic - but the unsung hero for me was composer @Lornebalfe who does an incredible homage to so many action/cop/spy films with the score, including his own work in Mission: Impossible. There's a McQ-era Mission bit that had me in tears.

THE NAKED GUN was SO GOOD. It's non-stop blink and you miss it jokes & it never tries to be anything more than really fucking funny. I know you're tempted to wait and catch this one at home, but trust me - you don't remember how good it feels to see a real comedy in a theater.
