i graduated from the same place, nd i agree, as future lawyers we should care abt the systems behind the laws. but it is possible to dislike messy politics whilst also caring ab political impact.

and yes the video might’ve come off as politically apathetic or out of touch, but honestly I think it shows realisation abt just how important politics rlly is in law, even if he dislikes it. that’s not apathy that’s self awareness (prob paired with slight frustration and stress).

if u looked at the original tt, he never said “politics isn’t important”, he admitted to disliking it, but bc he recognised the overlap between politics and law he needs to care regardless. he even asked “how can I start becoming more politically aware?”… which shows care to me.

hihi ! dengkil law found grad here, not me caping for that student but let’s b real, there’s a difference between disliking politics vs not caring ab politics. I feel like the hate is excessive and unnecessary, plus w the wording things r being spun a little out of context 😵💫 +.
