We were delighted that 23 https://t.co/0dvUVVdZm2. Environmental Science students from Fergusson College, Pune,visited IITM, today. The interaction proved to be highly engaging, giving students valuable insights into climate science, weather forecasting, and atmospheric research.

- Seasonal trends were found significant decline, but due to regional meteorological variations, accompanying Twomey effect may lead levelling off in SSH over the Northeast region during monsoon and post-monsoon season.

- The sunshine hours (SSH) concluded a significant increment from October to May followed by significant drops from June to July at six regions, except northern inland and Himalayan region.

Highlights: - This study delves trends of sunshine reaching to earth surface across nine geographically diverse regions including 20 stations in India during 30 years period.
