"we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor" Sure different than ostracizing, shooting, etc, a fellow American for saying, believing, or doing something with which you disagree. Happy Birthday, America, and Happy 4th to ALL Americans.

Democrats . . . overspend. Republicans . . . overspend. Repeat. When does sanity return to D.C.? AFTER we reach the point of no return? Absurd. Ridiculous. Repugnant.

Thomas Massie delivers a truth bomb on the “Big Beautiful Bill”: “I’d love to stand here and tell the American people, ‘we can cut your taxes and increase spending and everything will be fine.’ But I can’t...”

After sweeping the white house and both houses of congress, Trump now has the opportunity to demonstrate real leadership by extending the olive branch. If extended, the opposition will have the opportunity to demonstrate they are about what they claim to be, by accepting it.

To forge mutual collaboration and understanding, extend the olive branch when no compelling reason exists.

Government debt is taxation without representation, a tax levied upon future taxpayers, future voters, without representation when incurred. It is a gross injustice.

I’ve been humbled in recent weeks by the many people who have urged me to run for Senate in Michigan and to do so by joining the Republican primary. They see what I see: contenders for the seat who are uninspired, unserious, and unprepared to tackle the chief impediment to

Those who blame others, instead of owning and solving problems, abdicate their power. A wise populace will fire the ineffective, not echo the subterfuge.

All 5 are great. These 3 ought to be hard requirements for politicians: "1. Don’t confuse what you wish were true with what is really true. 3. Don’t overweight first-order consequences relative to second- and third-order ones. 5. Don’t blame bad outcomes on anyone but yourself."

So I certainly don’t want to dissuade you from going after whatever you want. At the same time, I urge you to reflect on whether what you are going after is consistent with your nature. Whatever your nature is, there are many paths that will suit you, so don’t fixate on just one.

The first amendment protects the right to say even the most vile, repugnant things . . . even "hate speech". Allowing what is said to incite infringement on the right to say it, is a fool's trap, and unamerican.

Those who judge historical figures by the moral and cultural enlightenment of the present, instead of by that of their own time, are more ignorant than those they judge.

Knowing the data and understanding the reality are paramount to root cause, failure analysis and effective closed-loop, corrective action. Doing "something" that is ineffective, and letting yourself, and others, off the hook, in the interest of feeling better, is pussillanimous.

Why do so many assume to know what is in the hearts and minds of the opposition? And then choose to see any outward sign that matches that assumption, as evidence of evil, and justification for condemnation?
