Good thread about Big Bang Theory. I stopped re-watching Seinfeld because I realized how utterly selfish and negative everyone was. I think BBT had a bit too much laughing at nerds. But it also made them likable and relatable.
People put down Big Bang for portraying nerds negatively because "not all nerds" and yet have absolutely no problem with comedies where genuine assholery is normalized and never addressed such as Friends or Seinfeld.
