When you look at the stats in the first division as well it shows you just how important a striker is. Apart from Rowe who can play a number of positions the top two goal scorers are Midfielders in Coffey and Devitt both of whom have had huge impacts for there clubs this season

Moses Dyer leaving Galway and Daniels leaving Cork are blows for both sides. Both clubs have struggled but they have been bright lights. Owen Elding scoring 8 times in the premier division as well in a struggling Sligo side is impressive.

Some surprise results in the @LeagueofIreland tonight but I guess that's why they call it the greatest league in the world.

Football is a very simple game at times. Get the ball wide, get runners in the box and get decent deliveries.

That's a scandalous decision against Cork in the Kennedy cup. Nowhere near crossing the lineπ‘

History is everything to a football club. Some people will try desperately hard to change the narrative but unfortunately for them you can't change history.

We had France v Spain last week. Spain v Portugal yesterday and then this tripe tonight. We simply are decades behind the top nations and we all know why.

A tale of two midfielders. Isco & Palmer with youth winning out in the end.

Don't usually head out but it was an absolute pleasure to be in the company of these lads last night after the league season we had. Great lads both on and off the pitch πΊπ»

What an end to the league season but more importantly what a group. 10 games unbeaten after being written off by so many. They never gave up, never stopped believing and the character shown by each and every one of them will stand to them in life forever more.
