After a year of building, PlayCode 2.1 is live. 🚀 I completely rewrote it from scratch. Here's what changed: 🔧 Offline-first architecture (inspired by @linear's approach - built our own Offline first ORM implementation) 🎨 Brand new design - New dashboard, project pages,

🚨 Heads up! Tomorrow (Monday) PlayCode will have a major downtime — we’re migrating to a new version 💪 The site will be completely unavailable for about 6–8 hours (hopefully less). ⏰ Starts at 07:00 UTC. Please don’t plan anything important on PlayCode this Monday ❤️

The only way to learn something, truly, you need to build it from scratch. This is the way I learned full-stack website building.

I spent 2900 minutes on meditation apps. Paid money to listen to "magic" music. Listened to voices telling me how meditation "rewires my brain." Followed instructions on how to breathe, how to sit, how to think, how to feel, how to live. Then I tried just lying down in silence.

In one of the Y Combinator presentations, one participant asked, "Okay, this is all clear, your business advice, ideas, how to do things, it's all clear, but how do you avoid burnout?" And then the Y Combinator speaker answered. He didn't just answer, he was even annoyed by this

The Sleep Deprivation Cascade (root of most of my failures): Trigger → Work binge → Sleep debt → CEO offline → Panic/impulses → Bad choices → More problems. Sharp knife: early bedtime + non-skippable breaks. I don’t negotiate with this anymore.

The 2-step Triage Protocol I use when anxiety lands on my desk: Step 1 — Diagnose state: Is my rested “CEO” online or is the depleted “Operator” driving? Step 2 — Apply protocol: • CEO online → do it now • CEO offline → quarantine + write it down + rest It saves me

I’ve been coding for 18 years. The code wasn’t the hardest part. Staying focused, sleeping well, and not burning out was. I’m building systems to manage the human who writes the code: - A 2-step triage for anxiety - Anti-burnout sleep rules - Protocols that keep me
