Labour had hoped to close Grangemouth entirely but as the Belgian plant wasn't ready and Mossmorran closed the English refineries still needed ethylene hence these loans, after the Holyrood election expect an announcement about moving ethylene production to Belgium
It’s £150 million over 5 yrs £75m from NatWest £30m from Ineos It’s for the Ethylene plant until Ratcliffe can get his Belgian plant up & running which the UK have underwritten £600m in guaranteed loans Then I expect it will be closed Grangemouth as a refinery is closed for good
