Just a reminder that their competition is Jira 🤣. The more I use Linear the more I am like “why not before”. Within weeks I can fly through the UI like it’s nothing.

Just had a great conversation with @an21m. I can’t share the details, but the behind-the-scenes of how @amoamoamo designs and engineers their products absolutely deserves a blog. They’re truly operating in a league of their own. @nikitabier is right.

When you get used to Claude Code, any other AI coding tool seems like a toy.

Just as a clarification, this tweet was not against @mitsuhiko, it was actually a reflection around the fact that AI is and will be an inevitable development that will transform how we interact with machines.

Ignoring AI isn’t purist—it’s just shortsighted. Learn from first principles. Master the foundations. Then use AI as your superpower.

I could say, “I don’t need some stupid computer to do my job—I’ll go brain-dead if I let it do everything for me.”. But honestly? That reasoning is shallow. AI is the electric saw of our industry. You don’t become a worse carpenter for using one—you become faster, more precise.

I love designing systems. I enjoy spending hours reverse-engineering complex code and diving into theoretical papers. But I also know when to step back and let AI help me. Not to mention how insanely helpful is AI at helping you grasp complex topics.

Many phenomenal engineers struggle with the idea that AI could assist them, because they’re too proud of their own work. When your identity is wrapped up in the craft, it’s hard to accept that a tool might do part of it for you.

Hot take: Too many people in our industry are overly attached to the craft of coding, instead of viewing code as a tool to solve problems. Loving your craft is great—until it becomes your identity. That’s when it turns toxic.

I'm convinced that AI is the future and that it will transform us and how we interact with machines. To me this future is inevitable. I have no doubt and I have no data that I have at hand would make me doubt that.

I’m referring to questions about bureaucracy, taxes, laws, and different forms of employment. While these models aren’t a substitute for doing your own verification, they significantly speed up the process of searching and understanding.

As an expat in Austria, I often pause to appreciate the immeasurable support I get from deep‐research LLMs like o3. There’s so much to learn and the language barrier can be daunting, but these tools effortlessly dissolve much of the complexity.

After a few weeks of using it, I can confidently say that Claude Code has completely changed my work. It’s quite reliable, and I know I can delegate low-risk tasks to it while I focus on more complex problems. For refactoring and clearly defined problems, it saves me hours.
