meant to drag avik to the theatre today but instead: .- got ramen.- did claw machines.- went to a pc cafe.- got boba.- tried to drive home.- realized avik left his watch @ pc cafe.- went back to get it.- did more pc cafe.- got dinner + cocktaiks at same place we got boba from.

our paint instructor straight up said in front of everyone that her favorite book was haunting adeline, which was. BRAVE, imo 😭😭. so then i had to explain why i was like 😳😨 to avik after 🤦♀️.

we're going to paint tonight, tomorrow I'll make him go to a shakespeare play with me, maybe we can find an art museum or concert or something too. operation: make bf an arts appreciator has commenced.

i'm soooo guilty of this tbh 😭 but to me it's also a hobby so i do not mind spending the money.

Although you can become *better*, you can't just "fix it". What people don’t understand is that it’s like putting on a play. You can rehearse the lines and learn the cues, but if someone goes off-script you're right back to awkward. It also still takes a ton of energy to stay in.
People need to realize that unless u are severely (like non verbal) autistic, being “socially awkward” is something you can fix with practice. Social skills are like any skills: some people are born w natural ability, most people have to learn thru practice.
