The importance of independent cultural organisations @tynesidecinema - support the campaign to save a Tyneside landmark and the last newsreel theatre still working as a cinema.
Yesterday, We discovered that Sunderland's Empire Cinema closed with immediate effect. Jim Beirne from Tyneside Cinema has expressed what the news means for independent organisations in the industry.
