Growing up, Ruger attended a church very close to my home in Ojodu Berger. He was a drummer, never used to sing. We have a mutual family friend. Pastors used to come to his church and see visions bout him that he’d be a superstar singing in nations. They used to laugh at him.
Guys, a friend's house at Aibu Street,off Bode Thomas, surulere is currently on fire and its spreading rapidly. Been calling Lagos state emergency lines and they arent going through.please rt this video so the relevant authorities can see it. Help save lives

Victony. Easily too. His rollout wasn’t just for songs, but him. From Soweto artwork having the ft artists on Ohema on a bicycle tire to show its coming, to how he rolled out Angelus w blaqbonez and other comedians, to Jaga jaga to Ohema. Except you don’t know what rollout is.
They used to try to tell him to sing but he kept drumming the drum. He thought my brother’s friend, juwon how to drum. Everyone in church used to “mock” his prophecies. E come be like say na only am remain. But prophecies are prophecies. He’s Ruger today, in front of nations.
They came from Port Harcourt and brought a new wave with them. They switched it up with their dynamism and fusion. In an industry where pairs and groups rarely thrive, they're the exception. Ajebo Hustlers is who I've chosen to echo this week. Listen❤
Btw, Mr Kaplan is the deadliest character in the Blacklist series. She made things go on for Red for 20 years,yet she also was one of the toughest people he fought. She was such a good friend, and such a good enemy too. Queen.
The rap scene needs to study the alte community and how the came together to build their community and not make the mistake they made on building on individuals and build on the art itself. Thats the only way the community will stand. When it transcends individuals.

Man I think rappers are crying too much fr. Choc city invested in blaqbonez. Mavins invested in Ladipoe. Ybnl has put so many rappers on the map. IT'S LEFT FOR YOU TO MAKE SHIT WORK. DON'T CRY WHEN YOU HAVEN'T EVEN DONE YOUR PART TO THE LAST DETAIL. show value and get returns.
I'm jealous of how Lojay finds pockets and his wordplay. He's too bad. He and Ruger are the most underrated, and will pull the biggest shockers. Bookmark this.
Even after the IGP dissolved Sars, the police force are still attacking innocent civilians and almost killing them in the process. Please retweet for the world to see💔

Bnxn Buju is our cover star for this week's echo. From the walls of Babcock, to the shores of the world, he's taken the Afrobeats scene by storm. With cosigns from Burna, Wizkid, and more, Bnxn is set to make a global mark. Listen to his echo.
Heyy. Been a while. I wrote another article on Ckay, his genius, Osagz's outburst, Ckay predicting the future and how one question changed his life. Check it out please. It's amazing. There's nothing like this🌴💚
I kept saying since the portable issue. Poco Lee is one of the best A&Rs in the game. He is going to change street music and it's acceptance. Nigerians also have a problem with people growing, that's why they're pissed he's not just dancing.
What all this actually means is that the big labels
@warnerrecords
@sonymusic
and
@UMG
should be looking at
@Poco__lee
as one of top A&Rs in the game.. he knows how to find hits.. pay that man!
Hi there. I wrote an article on Victony, Mayorkun, Holy Father, the transition from The Mayor Of Lagos to Back In Office, Victony's aura, The lockdown and more. It's an enlightening read. Enjoy. 🌴💚
Hey. On today's episode of my playlist series, I chose to echo
@heisrema
. Rema is different. He's all about showing that. From his sound to his style, his melody to his ideas. He's always saying more than you think. Hear his echo.
Hey. On today's episode of my playlist series, I chose to echo
@oxladeofficial
. From his melodies and harmonies, his high sense of fashion and his love for ladies, he's definitely one of those at the forefront of the afrobeats movement. hear his echo.
Spirituality and God have granted me some gifts in this life. At Victony's Lagos concert last year, I was backstage handling Artists. Odumodu was to go up after Crayon or ykb. Can't remember. Mo and Lammy were being strict with allowing a lot of people on stage.
I had a deep 2 hour conversation with Llona recently. This is the monster you made, dear Nigerian music space. He is the consequence of your illegalities. He is the coin you will be repaid in. You’ll sing his pain. You’ll dance to his struggles. We are all alone, he is our Llona.
Wizkid is the most underrated artist in our geospace. If you think about it properly, you'd be surprised by how true it is. you'd be surprised by how many people don't want him to win or see him for what he is, and that's why he is who he is. Cos he clears doubts.
Five years, I’ve been silent. I’ve watched artists thrive on and execute plans, ideas I’d give them without any credit/compensation. labels use of my skillset and leave me with 0. Be scared. The light will soon be on me. I will call everyone out, cos you stole from me in public.
Woke up, listened to everything I have ever recorded, for myself and for anyone. And I can say that you people are still sleeping. sleeping on my wave. But that's fine too. It's allowed. God is with me. Time is in my hands.
Hey. It's episode 6 of my playlist series and I chose to echo Zinoleesky. With just a couple of singles and one extended play, this young man is far gone, looking like the best thing to happen to street music. Hear his echo!
I'm a yoruba boy. My mom is Delta-igbo. I speak both languages perfectly. I'm in a bus now as i tweet, and i was about to call my mum and speak to her in her native tongue. I was dailing her when my brain told me that this driver and conductor will assume i'm igbo and beat me.

His generation was here when there was no social media, what did they achieve? Why is Nigeria like this? What nonsense are you spitting? 😂
The best part isn't even the song. The best part is that Blaqbonez got someone like Chike, a chronic lover boy known for committing to using his vocals to preach beautiful love and romance to being the first voice in a war against the movement of romantic love. That is genius.
I might sound crazy, but Omah lay has one of the best if not the best catalogs and discographies in the Nigerian music space. Dare I say ever. He has never had a 7/10 song. I do not think he ever will. If you want to talk hits, he’s up there with any of your faves rn.
I will touch everyone. Love songs, sad songs, club songs, global hits. They'd hate me. They'd see me as an anomaly. Best part is I've seen it all happen. So I'm prepared for it. I will set a new template. I will go against all their rules and boundaries. God is with me. I am one.
Everytime the violins on Asake's album burst your head, and you go "oh, what are these violinssssss" remember to say a blessing for
@segun_violin
. Or follow him.
Bella Shmurda is our cover star for this week's echo. The self acclaimed king of the streets has risen to be a force in African music over the years. Bella is well positioned to make a mark on the global scene. Listen to his echo.
I'm more concerned about you listening to the full story than anything else. It's an entire movie. Im not just making or dropping music. I'm telling you a story of my life. Every line you hear is real. Hello!!? Is just the first chapter of the book, Green.
Victony is our cover for this week's echo. The Nigerian superstar with the number 1 album in the country is currently at the forefront of the Next generation and Afrobeats movement, with 9 songs on the top 100. Listen to his Echo. It's amazing.
Hi
@JoeyAkan
. Busy day? Wondering if you'd like to check out an article I wrote on Ckay. Trust me you'd love it. It's amazing. Here you go.
Thank you.

The gap between Iniesta and messi isn't 20 years. And there's a distance in talent and effectivity. Micheal was just clear. His star power was simply unmatched. Can never be. That's where he's ahead. He will be surpassed musically, but not as a human.
At this point, it's really clear how much of a marketing genius Blaqbonez is and how involved he is in pushing his music.
Join myself,

on the 15th as we take a deep dive into
Blaqbonez and his genius.
Today makes it exactly a year since I put my voice to the world and dropped my first single. One year later, my dreads are long enough. My spirit is awake. I’m dropping the EP. Say a prayer for me. 💜
Yesterday Kevin played an unreleased record that had me on it for our uber driver. He didn't know I was the one. The reactions he gave and the look on his face, i will take to my grave.
It's Episode 4 of my playlist series Echo, and this week I chose to echo the voice of
@joeboyofficial
, the genius holding the continent spellbound with his music, and taking Afrobeats to the world. Focus on his voice, listen to his Echo!
In all you do, never forget that this government granted amnesty to globally recognized boko haram terrorists but used the military to shoot innocent protesters in lekki . Never ever forget!!!
