If it feels like the kind of story you want to tell to strangers, marry her.
I was leaving a photo studio in the middle of nowhere Chiang Mai when someone walked up like, “Yammi???” and I’m like heyyy lolll. Turns out she’d been following my journey on X about moving to Thailand, and had thought to herself, “wouldn’t it be funny if I bumped into Yam?” and

We know what should reasonably happen to these numbers if the world were reasonable, but we’re hoping unreasonableness continues to prevail.

Looking at my portfolio and I’m reminded of the G. K. Chesterton quote: The real trouble with this world of ours is not that it is an unreasonable world, or even that it is a reasonable one. The commonest kind of trouble is that it is nearly reasonable, but not quite.

This is a totally reasonable question to ask a CEO. Not sure why Altman is crashing out.
🚨 Brad Gerstner, an OpenAI investor, asks Sam Altman how a company with $13B in revenue can afford $1.4T in commitments. Altman’s reply? “Happy to find a buyer for your shares.” Translation: No answer. Very concerning. 🚩

Sir Keir Starmer says AI will improve public services, put money in your pocket, create jobs and improve your children's future - but how much is the government actually spending on it? Sky's @SamCoatesSky dives into the numbers behind government spending on AI.

I remember telling my mother, "Man, music was so much better in the 80's." My mom LAUGHED at me and said, "Josh, you only like the music that SURVIVED the 80's." NGL that stuck with me.
I really am tired of "new thing bad, old thing Good" when it comes to any sort of media analysis. There was dogshit back then too, you just intentionally forget it.

Why is an intelligent economist unable to understand opportunity cost? If I value a day at home with my family at over £400, and don’t desperately need the cash, I might not want to take on an extra £1,000 task for just £400.
Why are intelligent high earning people so bad at arithmetic? If I am asked to write something for £1000 and I pay tax of 60% on that fee I am £400 better off than if I say ‘no thanks there’s no incentive to do it’ https://t.co/huS77OmHqv just do the job work harder and pay the

The Premier League does not have a set piece problem, it has a low-block problem.
How PL teams’ average defensive line height deployed and faced has evolved over the past 4 seasons. This season, there’s only one team with the stones to play high and they’re constantly facing the filthiest of low blocks. 📊 https://t.co/8Nkr2FIEw0

I’m hearing Arne Slot is declining the opportunity to do a press conference today. It’s a bit weird. Makes me more grateful for Arteta’s “my chest is here, hit me” speech during Arsenal’s worst run. https://t.co/P8znLPUNiT

Mr Darcy actually ate when he said “my good opinion once lost is lost forever”, because there’s really no need to forget.

The Premier League doesn’t have a setpiece problem, it has a low-bloc problem. Teams (even City) realised that the best way to deal with a talent gap is to crowd out the zone just outside the box. There’s nothing wrong with that, and you need innovative ways to cause chaos.
If you don’t want Arsenal to play with set pieces, why not leave your low block and mid block then can come out to play? Let us entertain your fans for you.

This kid gets no protection from Barca and all the adults around him. The comment was taken out of context, and when they asked Flick before the game, he said “it’s none of my business”.

Lamine Yamal made a mistake with his pre-Clásico comments, but the real condemnation should be for those around him who arguably set him up to fail.
