I decided to replay Tears of the Kingdom. I'm deciding if I want to stream the whole thing again. If there's anyone out there that wants to see me do so, let me know.

I just had a dream that @markiplier moved to Montreal, somehow became my friend and made a tea company called Eviate. I don’t know why it was so specific. My brain is weird….

I’m not surprised Biden pardoned his son. If Harris had won, he wouldn’t have done it. However, Trump won. Trump is the vengeful type and plans to stack the DoJ with loyalists. He would’ve made Hunter Biden’s life a living nightmare. Joe Biden knows this.

So I'm curious. when you hear the idea of "edge of the world," what do you imagine?.

As I'm going through mods to add for the next time my friends and I play Lethal Company, I find myself disappointed in the lack of model replacements for some vanilla monsters. There are lots of good ideas in sound, but a lot of them need to add model changes too! D:.

Overall, I still love the game. I think it has a lot going for it, and the story set-up opens itself to more entries. I hope Sabotage Studios makes a Sea of Stars 2, if only so they can capitalize on these things that players (or at least I) want.

On top of this, the game doesn't give you the things you, as the player, want. It doesn't let you properly fight and destroy the Dweller of Strife. It doesn't let you get revenge on both Erlina and Brugaves (instead giving those two a twisted "happy ending" in the true ending).

They're not rewarded for their efforts, they're punished for it. Sea of Stars does the exact same thing, only it doesn't require another game to ruin its ending. It does that job well on its own.

They go on this time-sprawling adventure. They fight against an ancient alien creature and destroy it. They save the future of their world, a future they would never be a part of and didn't need to save. Their "reward?" To be killed by DALTON, of all people, a few years later.

If Chrono Trigger is my favourite game, Chrono Cross is perhaps my most hated. I hate what Chrono Cross did to the heroes of Chrono Trigger. I hate how, when Chrono Trigger would be released on new platforms, they would add content to cement the fate Chrono Cross would give them.

And this. this brings me back to Chrono Trigger. There was always one thing related to Chrono Trigger that I despised: the fates of Crono, Lucca and Marle after they saved their world from Lavos all for the sake of Chrono Cross.

And your reward for beating him? Valere and Zale become Guardians Gods, themselves now immortal as they travel their universe to destroy Dwellers and World Eaters left by Aephorul. They'll outlive their friends and everyone that matters to them. Their reward punishes them.

However, the story is written in such a way that you. can't defeat Aephorul. Like, at all. He and Re'shan are effectively gods. Even when you fight Aephorul in the True Ending, you don't destroy him. You don't stop him. All you do is drive him out of your universe to another.

Sea of Stars is set up on the idea of there being two immortal beings who are the crux of everything: the Immortal Alchemist Re'shan and the Fleshmancer Aephorul. I won't get into the full details, but basically Aephorul is the big bad.

With all this said, there's one last thing about the story that I'm not satisfied with: the story's end. By this, I mean the game's TRUE ending: the one where you save Garl and fight the Fleshmancer as the final boss. Why do I dislike it? Because it doesn't change anything.

Now I will be clear: the game is still good. I still like it. I'm just saying I didn't pay attention to these problems until they killed Garl because I was so invested in the story. Garl carried the story.

At times, the game punishes you for trying to use skills, combos or live mana as damage-dealing attacks instead of as lock-breaking tools because you never know if a speedy enemy may suddenly follow-up with a set of locks you can't break now because you used those resources early.

Example 2: Some enemies can start their next attack even if your whole party hasn't gone. So Valere attacks, followed by one of those types. The enemy then queues up a skill that takes Valere's Moonerang to stop. and it'll go off after your next character's attack.

Example 1: You would start a fight and an enemy would begin using an attack that requires a combo to break the locks in time, but combo points don't carry between battles and you wouldn't be able to get the combo points needed in time.
