See this is interesting to me because through my testing, twitch for years was already IP limiting you to count as a viewer to 2 max streams concurrently. So that alone should not change people's numbers, especially so drastically.
This is why the new twitch update infuriates me. As someone who works 40 hours a week, makes clips, draws and streams constantly ... I don't have time to sit and actively watch my friend's streams or the streamers I love. So I usually have them opened in a tab where I can
