Huge numbers of insects migrating into Cyprus last week. Many dead, but Crimson speckled moths arrived alive and kicking 😊.Will they reach NW-Europe🤩. Prachtbeer invassie????.
Last week-end I witnessed a fascinating phenomenon on the N coast of Cyprus: 1000s beetles floating on the sea and getting stranded on beach. At first they seemed all dead but uppon reaching the coast 100s moved inland. Not sure whether this is part of a migration strategy (1/)
