Longlisted for #CWWP Commonwealth short story competition Congratulations to all shortlistees! My story is set in a dystopian future (is it?) where it's illegal to not smile, pets are banned (signals of loneliness and disaccord) It's about opression, betrayal and resistance!

I found it. Generation Gap by Sarah Moss in @GrantaMag You have to read it. https://t.co/HdvOt395oZ

โIโd been dubious about his company at first.โ Sarah Moss on watching Shakespeare with her twelve-year-old son.
Can anyone help me find an article? It's a very short essay by an English writer, maybe Jill someone? about going to see a Shakespeare series with her son, and masculinity. It's very subtle and brilliant

Excited to have a short piece up with @LPBMagazine There are giant brushes of Toe toe whose sublime softness whispers into your palm. Thereโs the way a white gooseโs feather both holds a secret and tickles your nose. https://t.co/9fWpCRf6SO

On the ground floor are all our pets that died: Moggy tossed from a car at high speeds, ginger stripes...
