This is "#GDPR meltdown day" for @Meta - CJEU basically closes all "loopholes" their lawyers have argued for the last five years. We have put together a (very) first statement here:

In today's decision, the CJEU declared Meta/Facebook's GDPR approach largely illegal - similar to noyb's previous litigation before the EDPB leading to a fine of € 390 million.

In the past 2 yrs we’ve been helping our emerging mkts client pilot #datasovereignty so individuals can claim their @facebook data on our dashboard hatapp. We had several use cases on creating risk scores to access credit for the unbanked & uninsured using Facebook data.
