Did you know Michigan used to have laws that required corporate polluters to pay for the cleanup costs of their pollution? Since those laws were repealed in 1995, those costs have fallen on the taxpayer. It’s time to hold polluters accountable:

High water and trees down in the Huron River from Placeway in Island Lake State Rec Area to Cedar Ridge in Huron Meadows Metropark. Avoid river recreation there and be careful paddling anywhere this weekend. Lots of hazards due to storms and high waters.
