Given we only have 10 races this year, it is worth highlighting that it’s 6 races to count for individuals league and 8 to count for teams? (Instead of the usual 12 races, 7 individual, 9 teams)

Some sad news. Mike Williams the Hampshire Athletics Secretary died suddenly last Tuesday evening. Mike was Havant AC Secretary, a County official and held those positions since the early 1980s. Mike regularly officiated at Road Races. He is sadly missed by the running community.

Lordshill 10k date change: now Sunday 14th June. Entries open soon, first on HRRL facebook group page. Race start/finish have moved, but the same overall course as previous- fast, PB-friendly. The race has a fantastic new HQ at Oasis Academy & even better facilities than before.

an HRRL athlete request: a cardiac study in endurance athletes taking place in London, needing a few more subjects to complete the study. Involves 3 trips to London the 1st of which is on a weekday, the other two at weekends… and you get your VO2 max measured...
