I remember when @kaylatreanor was coming up & changing the game back in the 518 (51-Great, per @NotoriousBCD) … every record shattered pales in comparison to how genuinely amazing of a human being she is! What a career. Beyond proud of you! . Oh, and best is yet to come… 🍊.

Such a special story! @kaylatreanor and @tcummings_21 — two of the all-time greats. I feel like I’ve been covering you both for a lifetime! Thank you for being such incredible trailblazers and leaders in this game. Congratulations. @abmurray01, your best work yet. Amazing! 👏.

3. We’ve seen this plenty of times (NU vs. Hop 2017; FL vs. PSU 2016 come to mind) … just hate when it happens! Is this just the heartbreak of sports sometimes? 🤷🏻♀️.

2. Human error is inevitable and happens! I standby comments I’ve made in the past: being a WLAX referee is one of the hardest refereeing jobs in sports. But is instant replay / review a possibility in the future? Especially when film, equipment are in place?.

1. Not trying to take anything away from Stanford’s win (that 2Q outburst was a thing of beauty on heels of Friday fight vs. Syracuse!), but more so… how do we make sure this doesn’t happen in our sport? Especially come tournament time?.

Just saw this play clip, which ultimately was called the game-winner of Albany vs. Stanford game. Obviously, no team wants to win a game on a goal that wasn’t one — nor does a team want to lose like that after battling so hard. A shame this ended up that way for both.
