Another excellent Tel Aviv kosher dining establishment I was privileged to review for the @Jerusalem_Post. Check out Daddy's Deli in Basel Square!

Daddy Daily Deli (est. 1979) cites New York’s Katz’s Deli as inspiration. The menu is as diverse as its clientele. Customers can purchase an assortment of meat and vegetarian options.

Thinking about Sydney as we celebrate Chanukah at Ulpan Lilienblum. This sign acknowledges that we have olim from all over. Honored to be asked to lead candle lighting!

The relationship of Israeli's to their Judaism is fascinating. Today, Shabbat-man in running clothes sits near me. Takes out his phone, video calls a female friend & asks, "Do you know what the parsha (torah portion) is? Proceeds to tell her/share insight on Joseph/his dreams!

A beautiful sign of Israelis getting back on their feet. On a sunny Friday, many came to hike, swim and witness this amazing project to take water from Mediterranean to help fill Kinneret. This is the Tzalmon Stream.

My work with the @Jerusalem_Post continues to evolve. What a treat to write some restaurant reviews. Perhaps best bagel place in all of Israel! Tel Aviv's Schmearz is much more than just a bagel store and the owner, Michal Epstein is pretty awesome too!
jpost.com
It is hard to say any unkind words about the food, ambiance, or kind staff at Schmearz, though the long line and the wait time for bagels at super busy times can be a minor annoyance.
