I've got to work and translated up to 9 pages (technically 10) of the first novel. This alone has taken several hours, due to formatting and striking a balance between the literal lines, tone, and balance of the Japanese compared to English. I will describe more here. (1/?)

@machisneedle To see her transform and be potentially the greatest example of humans being worse than ants (in her own words) is an awfully interesting direction to take the character that I feel is lost tremendously if we omit the ugly parts of her character.

@machisneedle I disagree. I feel as though Palm went through an extreme metamorphosis that is considerable due to her behavior as a human. Her inability to understand and respect boundaries as seen through the predation, bloodlusted rage, and denial of Gon's perspective is important.
