I know there's legal ramifications, but I'd want to see Valve step in and get these players to TI. We can't have orgs even consider this acceptable.

It makes me fucking furious. Because TI is suppose to be beyond reproach with this stuff. Regardless of team shit, regardless of anything, you fucking get your team to TI. And GG, for the first time in esports history, is stopping that.

This is so fucked. Because I feel in maybe any other situation in the past 13 TIs we'd have had an independent team instead of the players losing their fucking spot.

Dreamt Dota 3 got announced, but Valve was going to make three new games, a CS2-style perma upgrade to Dota 2, a 3d soulslike with Sorla Khan, and a stand-alone Nest of Thorns game. Woke up and went to write about them only to remember I don't have a job. And they don't exist.

I think Valve does invites, probably already talking to people. Who do I think gets the invite?.- OG (Great for ticket sales).- MOUZ (Local team, convenient).- CIS/EEU grab bag (1w, L1GA, VP).

A last chance, 13-day, TI14 qualifier would be hype. But half the teams people are suggesting don't even exist anymore dudes. - Shopify is out of Dota.- Talon has three, possibly two players .- Team Secret doesn't have a roster.

I just can't imagine a situation where you turn down The International, and don't exhaust every possible avenue to get there, unless things are *really* bad.

I gotta know what's up with this Gaimin Gladiators stuff. It's driving me mad. One thing I don't want to see is fan fiction and speculation though. This is repution-ruining stuff. Like, 'lose the support of the Dota 2 community as a whole'-level.

I don't really even want to speculate. Contract and prize split disagreement? Or maybe roster issues? . A bad sign for TI as an institution IMO. You'd want to think nothing could keep competitors from heading there.
