Throughout the project, Albatross Arts were able to work with the not-for-profit creative studio Braw Talent to help them amplify the stories the young people brought. 🙌.

What's lovely about the video is that we get to hear the voices of some of the young people involved, and to see how it's allowed them to explore their creativity, whilst having the satisfaction of seeing the product of their endeavours displayed in such a professional way! 📽.

@albatross_arts offered a creative experience that connected young people through reflective & playful shared experiences. Young people directing rather than being directed, provided a safe space for self-expression, as well as enabling them to be more self aware and empowered.🙌.

Today we present to you "Welcome to Helensburgh" 🎬. A film funded by HMS Oardacious, produced by Albatross Arts, and directed by thirteen brilliant young people in Helensburgh. 💪.

Some of the footage captured across the fleet is absolutely WILD. and quite honestly we want to get right back to the Atlantic for a new adventure very soon! 🤩. And so, HMS Oardacious will be going again in 2025; same race, new team - watch this space for more details! 🔜.
