Very happy to have this paper out @MicrobioSoc as it represents a lot of effort for everyone here @ENASequence and @emblebi. It describes the tools and services built during the pandemic and reflects on how we might better respond for future pandemics

By analysing sewage samples received by DTU from 243 cities in 101 countries the researchers have now mapped where in the world the occurrence of resistance genes is highest, how the genes are located, and in which types of bacteria they are found. https://t.co/mTw8ltvw5R

Our new #globalsewage study on #AMR in 101 countries’ #sewage today. Even the same #ARGs behave very differently globally and sit in highly variable genomic contexts. Thanks to 250+ co-authors, @novonordiskfond and @EuropeVeo! 😃 https://t.co/rQLoADLEEv
