HLPUSD teachers and staff completed a 4-day Restorative Justice training to foster welcoming, inclusive schools. Through restorative circles, they learned to promote respectful communication and left inspired to bring these practices back to their campuses.

Thanks to the Boys & Girls Club of La Puente’s After Class summer program, students from Nelson & Sparks elementary schools set sail for adventure in Marina del Rey!. Students learned the basics of kayaking and sailing, turning the marina into their summer classroom.
