Fifth Grade G&T students have been learning about the mummification process in Ancient Egypt. The students participated in an apple dehydration lab. Students will make on-going observations as these apples turn into mummies. @SuperintClara @WestNYSchools @wnyhlb

Second grade G&T students were pleasantly faced with an ornithology challenge. The students were given pieces needed to build birdhouses without step by step directions. With a little trial and error and patience, they all had success! @WestNYSchools @SuperintClara @wnyhlb

Third and Fourth grade students and parents enjoyed watching “Helping Drew”, a musical puppet show with an important message about recognizing bullying and looking for solutions within yourself. It was a most memorable experience for all. @wnyhlb @WestNYSchools

Second Grade G&T enjoyed our journey to the STEM Arena. Students were given the opportunity to create using 3D pens, learn how to fly drones, race RC cars, and plunge into the virtual reality world. This trip was definitely one for the books! @WestNYSchools @wnyhlb

Sixth Grade G&T students continue their study of crime scene investigation. They participated in a simulated blood sampling lab. Each student was given the opportunity to determine the ABO and Rh blood type of various samples. They got some A+ results! 🕵🏻♀️ @WestNYSchools @wnyhlb

Fourth Grade G&T enjoyed learning about the life and works of Vincent Van Gogh. Students created a Van Gogh Museum by selecting a painting of his to recreate. All these masterpieces are museum worthy! @wnyhlb @WestNYSchools

Sixth Grade G&T students participated in a “Mission to the Moon” simulated voyage at the Buehler Challenger & Science Center. Students created mission patches and were assigned mission roles. We had a successful lunar landing and made great memories! @wnyhlb @WestNYSchools
