Idk which scholars run this account but it takes very little research to find out that Milosevic was extremely pro-privatisation. The man was a Banker who transferred ownership of the industrial sector to his political allies & financiers. He ruined Yugoslav worker ownership.

In the 1970s, when the US armed the "brave freedom fighters of Afghanistan.' They decided to arm the fundamentalists BECAUSE they would not place the highest priority on social and economic development..and hence allow the US to extract away!
