The upstate governor would probably put three operators on the JFK AirTrain @JFK_AirTrain.
New York is the last major city still running nearly all trains with 2 operators. Many modern systems are driverless: SG, HK, Dubai, Tokyo, Paris. Instead of modernizing, NY passed a union-backed bill to mandate 2 operators. If Hochul signs, it’ll cost taxpayers $220M 😢.
