This morning, I took a small group to show around my new exhibition at Allan Bank. This episode of how Beatrix accurately depicted Peter's favourite radish available at the market in those days but rare now was on a topic I shared with them!😊#BeatrixPotter #AllanBank.
Look closely at the vegetable in Peter‘s paw. It is not, as is commonly supposed, a carrot. It is a radish known as a Long Scarlet Radish. These radishes are typically 3 to 4 inches long; a carrot would be considerably larger in Peter’s tiny paw. #BeatrixPotter #PeterRabbit

Yesterday my daughter Kemi and I visited Whitworth Art Gallery to see the new exhibition Albrecht Dürer’s Material World. We were stunned by its quality, not only Dürer’s work but also the gallery’s elegant design & rich spaces, curation and installation. Must see!😊#whitworth

Here the third work of a new series inspired by Beatrix Potter's creativity, "Portrait #16 (Herdwick ram, a rogue politician)". Probably the most satiric piece, however, I symbolised the dark political climate of our current society. The original work is available!😊 #AllanBank
