Local anaesthetic ultrasound-guided translumbar renal biopsy with cognitive fusion = renal biopsy. The day will come for prostate #KISS

If you are using lidocaine for local anaesthesia remember to buffer it to raise the pH (e.g. with Na bicarbonate). Old trick but often underused in #LATP. Patients will appreciate not being injected with acid and it follows good evidence (Cepeda et al Cochrane review 2010)
