It's nice to know we're close to celebrating 20 years of https://t.co/B2OIezivqS achieving #zerodowntime. It's easy with the @IBMcloud Multi Zone Regions (MZR) where the 3-Active method is core to the design.

@ewindisch @pythonmeister @PeterSommerlad @PragmaticAndy Multi-cloud, no. But if you go multi-region, not only can you withstand regional outages, but if you stage your changes regionally, then you can also withstand regional problems of your own making.

Does the fear of eventual data consistency cause architectural decisions that enable failure? Embrace eventual data consistency as an enabler for always on services.

More evidence on why it's so important to really think differently about business services architecture when you adopt cloud for mission critical services. Running active in multiple availability zones and at least one other region enables Always On

Data governance needs to be proactively addressed when migrating to the clouds. Especially important when using multi-regions and considering privacy requirements. https://t.co/DRxstP8tjB

If you've not loaded the masters app yet, here's why you should: "No spoiler mode" - pick your favorites, watch in the a.m., go to meetings, and when you check back a few hours later, it'll catch you up with your favorites highlighted video reel. And then bring you up to date.
