3. Finally, there's a sea of viable businesses that could contribute to better #accesstojustice. A new fund/investment is needed that focuses on this problem - they need resources and support from everyone in the legal community.

2. Law depts and firms should be more inclusive of minority-owned and women-owned businesses when hiring AND buying. @cloc_org and @ACCinhouse are spearheading diversity initiatives, but clearly, more can be done.

1. LegalTech should hire and promote minorities and women to management roles. Check out @mccalaw - an incredible organization that promotes diversity in law departments and law firms.

The lack of diversity in LegalTech is not great. It doesn't drive better business decisions or UX. It doesn't have a positive socioeconomic impact on our communities. It doesn't make us better. What should we do?.

It gets worse. Given what we do at @DocJurisApp, I dug deeper into the contract tech space. In a random sampling of ~75 companies, less than 5% of founders are of color OR women 👀.

In a sampling of 270+ companies, only 2.3% of founders are black and 3.1% are Latinx. In total, founders of color represent 26.5%, and 13.8% are women (less than the industry average) 😞 Thanks @kristensonday for putting together this important research.
