okay it’s actually turned into a pretty decent start.. they’ve given us a fancypants suite in one of their other hotels which is a lot more central and has a sauna and a jacuzzi in the room?!? AND they refunded us so we have two nights here FOR FREE 🤯

couldn’t think of a better start to our holiday than arriving at the hotel at 12.30am to be told they gave our room to someone else. we literally phoned the hotel this afternoon to check that such a late arrival was okay and they said the room was guaranteed

overbooking should be illegal 💀

last time i sent a box up to shetland the post office told me it would’ve cost less to send two separate smaller boxes, so this time i packed two separate smaller boxes and they told me it would’ve been cheaper to send one larger box 😶
