I have had the same #WordPress site since 2017 and I finally deleted all of my unused media files, revisions, plugins, transients, and other old junk. My site went from. 2.33 GB 👉 571.18 MB. I'll share some tools I leveraged in the 🧶.

Truth bomb: I genuinely loved using Divi when I was a full-time #WordPress freelancer. It was visual, I could develop within & for it, and it worked for my clients. But the truth is if I went back now. I'd be all in on modern WordPress (blocks, site editor, etc). You?.

This is a cool iteration of the #WordPress editor, but I think at a minimum we need very strong labels & notifications about what you are editing. I can already see clients thinking they're changing a single page and accidentally changing a template. 😭. Perhaps even a double.
Witness the dawn of harmonization! Gutenberg 15.8.0 RC1 allows you to edit pages within the site editor. Will we see this in #WordPress 6.3? 🚀

I miss writing. I found #WordPress because of blogging. I started a successful DIY blog in 2014 with my cousins (It was called DIYJustCuz!). I blogged about children's books from 2015-2019. About business & WP starting in 2018. But I've gone dark. 🤷♀️. Quiet.

I love how easy it is to do things with #WordPress blocks. I wanted this newsletter sign-up at the bottom of all my posts. ✔️ Copied the blocks from my homepage. ✔️ Pasted them into my Single Post template. Done. No coding. No fuss. The expedited workflow is remarkable.

PSA 🚨. Please don't teach people to edit files directly via the #WordPress Theme File Editor. It scares me that this is encouraged by some. There's even a warning built into WP (thank goodness!).

Tried to add an HTML Anchor to a Custom HTML block in #WordPress but that setting isn't an option. 😭. I created a feature request here if anyone wants to upvote this feature 👇. (Workaround - wrap it in a Group).

I was getting frustrated - TAB doesn't create an indented bullet in the #WordPress block editor. 😭😭. Finally figured it out. To indent your next bullet, use the SPACE bar. To outdent, BACKSPACE (delete). Am I the only one who didn't know this?? 👀
