Ok Burgh Twitter, we need you. Every kid deserves to feel prepared for school, so @hellodayowls has partnered with The Pittsburgh Promise and the RK Mellon Foundation to pack 1560 new backpacks with school supplies for Pittsburgh Public’s 6th-graders.

Our zero-waste Møre Bag pattern uses the entire width of the fabric. Those holes are where the fabric is held to the machine and they don’t affect the strength of the bag. So, rather than discard, we decided to keep them. #zerowastedesign #sustainabledesign #transitionaldesign
