For years I thought I was a freak for —having multiple passions —being analytical & creative at the same time —wanting to start a business, serve a social cause, write books, learn, teach, sell, donate all at the same time. But I've found my tribe. Seems that I'm normal here❤️

Failed at this, but that's okay. It's been a busy few months for my family. On to the next chapter. Still wanting to get to 10k as I see it as a *psychological* barrier for bigger wins
Aiming to reach 10k followers by Jan 1st. So I'll be keeping track of my follower count on this thread, daily-ish, at 12:00PM. Nov 1 : 6,842

Your content does two things for you: 1) shows the world you’re skillful 2) shows the world you’re a trustworthy human that sticks around We’re here to get to know you. We are looking for signals to trust you. For that, we have to relate to you. See the hole in the donut?

Yes! Let's go. Nothing like inspiring an actual person with my newsletter *to start small*. I'd say Dave already is ahead of the curve by actually thinking about his money-making skills and *not* just another idea for an app.
Thanks to @hellobasak and her latest email on "NOT building an MVP" Motivated me, so here I am, trying to build muscle and starting small. If you got this far, thank you! Please share this for me, it's tough to get the word out when you're a nobody 😂

I'm building something but I'm scared to share it because once the word gets out I will *have to* ship it and it won't be as *fun* to build it (in the presence of expectations). One of the dilemmas of building in public.

It's not what you preach. It's what you build. Build interesting shi* and you'll get followers. As easy as that. (Note to self.)

You think you weren't born creative. But it's NOT true. Creative people are regular people. But they do 3 things you don't. Here's what they are: 1) Fast to action Creativity is not robust. It's FRAGILE. The faster you act on ideas, the better. For example, I'm writing my

I have a horrible, horrible ear infection and it's the sickest I've been since childhood. To anyone out there who is healthy: you have it all.

Hardest part of entering DEEP work is to begin. It's SO hard that, instead of beginning, you: - check your email - check your notifications - oh, that amazon delivery you were expecting? But I discovered a hack. Right before you enter deep work, start with a repetitive or

One possible solution is to have half-baked content laying around. A few post drafts, a few newsletter drafts... i.e. My newsletter content was ready-ish to go. That's how I was able to send it on time. Not having to start with a blank page is a huge blessing.

I've been SO sick for the past few days. The flu wiped me (and the kids) out. Couldn't get any work done. The house is a mess. I still haven't fully recovered. It's so hard to show up on days like these. Be gentle on yourself if you're in a similar situation.
