Hi friends, i realize that “I’ve cut back on Twitter” is kind of a boring tweet, but i have, i am, i will continue to.

Anyway, this person taught me a very traumatic and difficult lesson about how I never want to be as a boss and person, which I value. She also put me in therapy and made me question whether I belonged in my industry, which I DO NOT.

Sometimes fashion people want to act like the industry is magically now a mean girl-free zone because #empowerment, but the truth is there are a LOT of assholes still out there with a LOT of power over people's careers.

Even noted fashion caricature Miranda Priestley would have looked at this person's behaviour and been like "OK you need to tone it down."

This person's behaviour was so abusive, I woke up at 5am every weekday having a full-blown panic attack at the thought of dealing with them for a solid nine hours.

Pulled food that I was eating out of my mouth and threw it in the trash, in full view of my co-workers. Would always ask "do you REALLY NEED that?" when someone was eating. Asked me what dress size I wore, then made a disgusted face.
