To create a custom world map projection: Settings > Custom Projections > add "+proj=ortho +lat_0=-0.53420247 +lon_0=-91.056061 +x_0=0 +y_0=0 +a=6371000 +b=6371000 +units=m +no_defs" to Parameters and alter the lat/lon to centre your globe wherever you'd like!.
