Every time I think I’ve cracked the post-nights sleep re-jig, my brain wakes me up at around 2am.

Due to having had no sleep, today’s functionality will be supported by caffeine and spite.

My alarm goes off in two hours and I haven’t had a wink of sleep 🥲 I did two hours in the gym, all the housework AND had a nice long relaxing soak in the bath, I’ve had an Ovaltine and I just keep having to restart my Audible timer… I am so close to giving up on sleep 😭

70 minutes on hold to @RoyalMail for it to cheerfully inform me that “we close at 6:30pm!” And it has proceeded to remind me of this every minute since 6:10pm 🥲 I’d just like my parcel please, and maybe for the postie to actually knock on my door when they “attempt delivery”

The “Baby Shark” car horn I can hear repeatedly is a wonderful addition to my between-nights sleep

Driving home through slush covered roads and some parts flooded after a night shift was not exactly a life experience to tick off the list.

Housework done, car’s clean inside and out, candles lit, blanket & cat on my lap and Sister Act streaming. Productive day off. ❤️

This had me feeling all the feelings. TG & TGT have been a core part of my life, and I realise now I kind of took for granted that Jezza, Hammond and May would always be on my screen as a trio with new content. Lovely way to bring the era to a close.
