Over the past two weeks, I've seen a spike in academic colleagues admitting how far behind they are in grading, writing, and service work as well as sharing an overwhelming sense of burnout. Friends, it's because what this job demands of us was never healthy nor sustainable.

Greg Dell’Omo has cut $300k from Rider’s Library budget. The money most likely pays for Credo, a consulting firm hired to justify eliminating programs and faculty.. so much for education being the priority at Rider University, huh @omo_greg?

And yes, we can be somewhat relieved knowing there is some justice for Mr Floyd (though we can't bring him back). But it's hard not to think about all the other Black and Brown bodies for whom there was none.
