Urgent prayer request. Priest attacked with a bottle in 'brutal' incident at St. Patrick's Church, Downpatrick, Co Down, Northern Ireland. At around 10.10am on 10/08 a man walked into Church & hit Fr. John Murray on his head. The priest is in a serious condition in hospital. 🙏🏻

The more of this that comes out, the more you wonder how The Salt Path got published let alone turned into a film. There don't appear to be many explanations for this one other than two people lying to take advantage of people.

The two pillars that Raynor Winn's book, The Salt Path, were founded on, were the loss if their home - through no real fault of theirs - and Moth's illness/recovery/relapse/ recovery arcs. And it appears, from the Observer article, that both are a crock of shit...
