The Mercedes Benz arena got police to expel Jews to prevent them handing out protest flyers, but not BDS from handing out their flyers. During the Holocaust Mercedes used Jewish slave labour….

People who “rule the world”. A powerful hidden enemy who “pulls the strings”. This is straight up classic antisemitic rhetoric…

How could I forget the pig with the Star of David on? It symbolises evil, and is accompanied by negative messages and a logo representing corporate greed. The “Judensau” has a long antisemitic heritage

Waters is currently touring in Germany where some church buildings (including the one at Wittenberg where Martin Luther preached) are still adorned with the Judensau – an antisemitic motif intended to insult and mock Jews. Waters is keeping alive a centuries-old practice.

The Star of David has now been replaced with an Elbit logo. The "Judensau" lives on but with plausible deniability

@hearnimator I agree that Roger’s antics are distasteful and inappropriate, but it is a “show” and I use that term loosely, and we can choose to not buy a ticket.

@2112marc I choose not to buy a ticket and not to want an antisemitic show played to a stadium of people in Berlin or anywhere else

@PeteGasLondon1 My problem is a man appropriating the Holocaust in a stadium where Jews were rounded up by Nazis A man known for his fantasies about Jewish power and support of totalitarian regimes.

@hearnimator The journalist who documented all this hatefulness at the Waters concert deserves a medal. To compare the Holocaust to the conflict in Israel/Palestine is clear and blatant antisemitism. Shocking to see in Germany of all places.

ein abend mit roger waters in der mercedes-benz-arena. kein gegenprotest, nur vereinzelte BDS-unterstützer. drinnen über die anlage eine ansage von herrn waters: “the show will start in 10 minutes. and a court in frankfurt has ruled that i am not an antisemite”. die arena jubelt.
