I don’t understand the debate around Australian selectors devaluing the Sheffield Shield? Debate specialist positions, sure. But Green averages significantly more (15 runs 54 vs 39) than Bancroft in Shield cricket. I don’t think it’s a conspiracy if Bancroft isn’t picked.
